Choose a drill, tap Start, and shoot on the beep. ShotSentry uses your iPhone’s microphone to detect shots and show your timing. No extra hardware is required.
Timing that fits your practice
- Use open timing or set a par time with a second beep.
- Choose fixed or random start delays and start quickly with built-in drills.
- Review first-shot times and splits. Late shots after par remain visible.
- Correct detections after a string and stay focused with the full-screen range view.
ShotSentry supports Light and Dark Mode, Dynamic Type, and VoiceOver.
Tools for busy ranges
After each string, ShotSentry sets aside much quieter detections in a Not counted list. Review them and add a shot back with one tap. Use Check detection to test sensitivity with a clap before you start; it does not use a free run.
Optional Learn my shots builds a temporary reference from shots you confirm. Detection can still be affected by nearby shooters, wind, echoes, phone placement, and cases.

Your training stays on your iPhone
Audio is analyzed live. It is never recorded, saved, or uploaded. ShotSentry has no accounts, ads, or tracking. Settings, custom drills, and Pro history stay on your device; exports are shared only when you choose to share them.
